Lamu Island
Indian Ocean, Republic of Kenya
New Operating Room Equipment, Special Beds, X-Rays etc ... With help of all our friends we organized a fund raising for the King Fahd District Hospital in far away Lamu, Kenya. We had the new operating room installed, that will enable to care for the local population over a radius of 200 miles. Before, these patients had to be transported to far away towns like Mombassa or Nairobi, or could not be helped at all. The pictures show the hand over the ceremony to medical staff general surgeon Dr Combo. We have new Fund Raising projects in mind in the Socio - special educational issues in East Africa. |
